Paul & Joe is one of my favourite beauty brands – they do things to make up that turn it into art. I see a lot of make up as you can imagine, but a new Paul & Joe collection is a thrill every single time. So, a recurring theme for the brand is cats – for us dog people, this is obviously most unfair (;-)) but the new cat-core lipsticks are irrisistible – whether you like cats or dogs!Paul & Joe Lipsticks
There are three new shades coming (from left to right): Cafe Parisien, Cafe Espresso and Coffee Cherry. Cafe Parisien has a central core of milky beige surrounded by pink, Cafe Espresso is a nude tone with a coffee toned core and Coffee Cherry is a vivid red with a nude toned centre. I can’t wait to see how these translate to the lips (samples are on their way so hopefully next week I’ll be able to show you).Paul & Joe Lipsticks
There are always new casings, too, based on the Paul & Joe seasonal fabric collections, so you can mix and match up your product just how you like it.
It’s interesting to note that Paul & Joe use a Japanese candy making technique to get these picture cores in the centre of the lipsticks – I guess that means there is scope for anything to be replicated. I can’t wait to see where this trend goes…

I’d be prepared to put money down to bet that you won’t have experienced a skin care texture like this before...
