Sephora Swoon Gloss Pick Up is such a simple idea – it does make you wonder why nobody has thought of it before. All it is is a long handled scoop and applicator that allows you to get to the very bottom of every lipgloss. The Sephora Swoon Gloss Pick Up proves that it’s not always all about high tech gadgetry, and that a very basic idea can make a whole heap of difference.
It’s also a bit of a mystery as to why brands rarely make wands that reach the bottom of the gloss tube. When you think about it, actually, it’s really odd – a bit like putting something on a shelf out of reach; you could, with effort, get to it, but why do you need to have the effort put into it in the first place?
Sephora Swoon Gloss Pick Up is $15 (what, really? for a bit of plastic?) but it’s a handy little thing for those occasional times when the last of your favourite gloss is looming.

I can answer your question – the brand simply doesn’t want you to use up ALL of the lipgloss before buying a new one… You might think “Yeah I’ve got 8ml of gloss, that’s great”, but you can use 2/3 of it actually… It’s the same with nail polish, mascara, and what not 😀
Oohhhh I like the idea of this!!
Good idea but bad price! Hopefully someone will have the same idea for cheaper!
Sephora also have a bottoms up spatula for getting the last bits out of bottles. It’s only $6 and is on my list for when I’m next in the us. This looks good too, just a little pricey!
This is so fantastic, I’m actually thinking of getting this but not for lip gloss. I use the NYC HD Concealer and it comes in a lip-gloss like tube with a wand, and there’s always a little bit of concealer that I can never reach. The price is a little hefty but if it will help me get another week or two of use from my concealer tube, I’ll bite.
Usually i find if you remove the little bit in the tops of tubes that take off the excess product you can reach the bottom, no good for mascara but fine for lip-gloss or concealer x
Someone did, indeed, already think of it — and for a LOT less. It’s called “Every Drop Spatula”. I bought mine at my local Container Store for $3.99 USD, and they’re also available on amazon.com for significantly less than $15.
