[afflinks] I’m not quite ready to get back to beauty – tomorrow hopefully when I’ve mended my laptop (currently working on my back up which is so slow I will still probably be writing this post this afternoon) so thought I’d show my sale buys. Unexpectedly, I’ve bought quite a lot – Max and I went up into London on Saturday for a couple of hours and quit while we were ahead!

LK Bennett Shirt

This is 100% a me kind of shirt – light and gauzy so I can wear a strappy top underneath and it goes with black trousers! I don’t like round necks but the frill bit is a kind of collar and I can wear it open or done up. It’s down from £150 to £75 HERE. I’m linking to John Lewis where they have all sizes up to 18 in stock except 16.

Wildfox

I wanted this all through the summer but couldn’t quite justify the £250 tag – It’s a loose and sloppy knit so great for early morning summer walks teamed with jeans or shorts. It’s £119 HERE. Non affiliate HERE.

Anthropologie

I couldn’t leave this little monkey in the store! I found it in Anthropologie for £11 (reduced from £16) HERE -there are dachshund versions as well – a coffee cup that’s never going to be used as such but will be an ornament. Non affiliate HERE.

Mango

Mango is really my favourite high street store – I bought this for £15.99 reduced from £29.99 and if they’d had it in other colours I’d have bought those too! It’s HERE, non affiliate HERE. I did have to fast forward to summer or spring in my mind with this but that’s fine – I’ll wear a cross-back strap bra top underneath.

I also picked up a sweater from Massimo Dutti and a gold shirt from Max & Co (which I can’t find on line) so I’m pretty happy with my lot. Someone asked me if I ever buy beauty in the sale and I tend not to unless it’s absolutely one of my favourite brands and it’s something that I use regularly (which never somehow seem to be in the sale!). But if you are looking, Clinique (above) has some good stuff – notably a £29.99 value set (including a Black Honey lipstick) that’s going for £13.33 – it’s not even particularly Christmassy looking so I’d stock up for gifts. It’s HERE in the last chance section, non affiliate HERE. And finally, below, the extremely good value Aveda box (previously £98) is now £49 HERE at John Lewis. Non affiliate HERE.
