Me & Em Sale Top

[purchase/affiliate] I popped this top up on Instagram on Saturday and it was a really popular post so I’m very quickly putting it here too for anyone that doesn’t use Instagram. I was an early adopter of Me & Em but I’m very firmly ‘sale only’ now because it’s just got so expensive. I mean, it still isn’t cheap but I have maybe three or four of their excellent layering tops already and I wear them a lot – they’re very, very useful. I’ve screen-grabbed from the video so excuse the quality.

I think it’s the camera angle that’s making my boobs look bigger than they really are! So, I prefer to wear jumpers or sweatshirts with a collar especially if they’re not loose on the neckline – I just don’t think I particularly suit a round neck sweater without ‘something’ between neck-hole and face. My original Me + Em layering tops have a lace collar – I have two, one in black and one in cream – and they’re a bit sorry now because I’ve worn them so much, particularly the cream. I’m wearing a size 12 in this particular design (there are several) which is ample for me. The cream version is now £45.50 HERE instead of £65 but the black is not in the sale so is still full price. This is a case of buy in summer, wear in winter with the added benefit for those of us who feel the chill of acting as a vest. You can wear, of course, just as they are – no need to put anything on top if you don’t want to. Annoyingly, and my fault for not getting this up on Friday, there are sizes 10 and 12 left and nothing else at this point.
