Revlon 2013 Spring/Summer Collection

I have a couple of swatches to show you from this collection.

The shades I have are Juicy Papaya and Watermelon for lips and Sunburst and Seashell for nails.

The nail polishes are more a wash of colour and have little pigment – I can’t see myself wearing them because I like a really strong nail look – these are just too wishy-washy to me and actually quite hard to control and get what colour there is on evenly.

The Lip Butters, on the other hand, are gorgeous because of their sheerness – they really are juicy tints with plenty of sheen and the right amount of colour for a gloss/lipstick hybrid. I love these!

I’d wear both of these in a heartbeat, especially on a hot, summery day. The collection launches in March; Colorburst Lip Butters are £7.99 each and ColorStay Nail Enamel also £7.99.

  1. Love that pale nail polish

  2. Lily.

I love the pinker Lip butter – I’m assuming that’s Watermelon?

Love the two lip shades! Definitely going to have to get my hands on those!

  4. Oh the lip butters look lovely! I’m actually quite intrigued by the sheer orange nail shade – would it be at all possible to see a swatch? I think it would be really pretty worn as a “jelly sandwich” manicure using a gold glitter polish sandwiched between layers of the sheer polish.
