Say what you like about the juice but Nicki Minaj fragrance bottles are pretty amazing. The newest version, Nicki Minaj ONIKA Fragrance, is probably the best yet in terms of impact – although there is something quite weird about removing her head to spritz it. The Nicki Minaj bottles are a triumph of moulded plastic but I’m actually starting to rather like them for at least having a very good stab at being different from the million and one other fragrance bottles out there.
In terms of fragrance, it’s what you’d expect from a mass market crowd pleaser – fruity florals with a sugar cane dry down. And, I find it interesting Nicki’s real name is Onika Tanya Maraj – I didn’t have a clue that Nicki Minaj isn’t her given name. So, I guess it’s a good thing that’s she’s confident enough to embrace who she really is.
Nicki Minaj ONIKA Fragrance is on a Boots exclusive from 20th August and then hits every other store in September. Prices start at £24.
