If you’re either a fan of bananas or a fan of a great lip balm – or better still, both – then look out for Kadalys Banana Lip Balm coming to the UK in about May time. It’s just delicious and not overwhelmingly banana-ish either – just enough that you know what it is but you won’t smell like you’ve eaten a whole bunch if anyone swoops in for a fashion kiss. I think this is going to be a totally hit editorially because the pop art labelling is so pretty – and unusual.

The entire Kadalys brand is built around bananas – who knew they had antioxidants, polyphenols and phytosterols, all good for skin? It’s a very interesting range, and don’t be thinking it’s mushed banana; the brand uses the whole banana tree to extract the natural ingredients.

I can, hand on heart, say that the Nutritive Oil (for hair and body) is one of the loveliest I’ve ever used and when I tested in on one hand and not the other, there was an immediate and clear difference in the hand with the oil in that it looked smoother and was completely hydrated. As dry oils go, it’s not the driest, but it is an exceptionally nourishing formula – if you’re after an adventure with bananas, start here!
