While I was away (in Spain), I spotted a Sephora concession in the local department store. This is a place I go at least once a year, sometimes more, and it definitely wasn’t there last time. Sephora has been exploring concessions within stores in the US with JC Penney for a while now, and I’ve seen Sephora concessions in French department stores, but it’s the first time I’ve noticed it in Spain. It could have been happening for years, to be fair, but I’m wondering if it’s working really well for them whether this could be a model for the UK. They had a LOT of Tony Moly products but since I had most of them anyway, I opted to pick up this little Kiss Me Gloss which looks cute and performs better than I was expecting. I would have got more things but I was very put off by the sales assistant trying to explain Korean beauty to me – I did say that I knew about it and was familiar with the brands but she wasn’t having it so I had to do a hasty retreat.
I don’t think I’ve seen a roller gloss in this format – a cross between Bonne Belle and Eos. It’s more of a glossy lip tint to be honest, and the roller isn’t what you would call precise in application, but if you ‘kiss up’ your lips you get a decent application. It’s very sheer with a tiny stain element – this shade is Candy Desire, but there are five others (think Dreaming of Dessert, Strawberry Obsession etc).
It was 7 euros so I’m not complaining – there isn’t any balm element though.. it’s all tinty-gloss. You can find it from Sephora.fr HERE.
