Essie Wild Nude Collection

Essie Wild Nude Collection

Well, Essie are on a roll right now with their new collections. You can’t consider the Essie Wild Nude release as a seasonal collection, I don’t think, but more a muted neutral collection that fits in any time of the year.

I like a nude polish but these are slanted a little too browny pink for me – even the paler one. But I love the olive shade, Exposed (good for toes if you already have slightly sun kissed feet), and also the stormy grey colour of Winning Streak. In the midst of new corals, pinks and neons from Essie, these are just very solid basic shades but whether that’s enough to tempt us, I don’t know. I’m kind of in the mood for corals, pinks and reds right now and think these might have been better released in September time when the colour mood shifts.

The shades on the wheel from first to last are: Clothing Optional, Exposed, Winning Streak and Bare with Me. On the plus, they’re £5.99 instead of £7.99 on the Superdrug site right now HERE.

Not keen on these, they look like the undercoat you put on a tank. I do like Essie’s Treat Love & Colour range though which has improved the condition of my nails which had taken a bit of a battering after a run of gel nail manicures.
