I always thought ‘communication issues’ was a made up thing, but my stars are clearly hugely out of alignment at the moment because who knew how wrong ‘communication’ could go! Especially when there’s a long chain. So, yesterday, I posted Makeup Revolution Flawless Matte 2 and blogged entirely the wrong palette. I posted Makeup Revolution Flawless Matte 1 so cue massive blogger panic at my end and discovering how fast I can actually delete if needs be! I’d never seen Flawless 1 so had no idea it was the wrong one. So, if you did spot it yesterday and wondered where the heck it went.. now you know! So, here we have it, Makeup Revolution Flawless Matte 2.
It’s a little bit more sultry than Flawless 1 – still plenty of nuance of the nude spectrum but with some deeper, more earthy shades thrown in this time around. I like the way that the four rows graduate in depth as you go down the palette and that you can create nude based smokies with a bit more of a wow factor.
Row 1: Flaw, Less, Perfect, Neat, Master, Accurate, Ripe and Matte.
Row 2: Look, Standard, Order, Able, Rate, Finest, Final and Famous.
Row 3: Ranking, Two, Tone, Best, Top, Notch, Valid and Total.
Row 4: Whole, Sound, WII, Known, Right, Vintage, Beauty and Define.
I love that it has more ashy pink and mauve tones which don’t happen often enough in nude palettes that stay safe with a cream to brown graduation, and if you love creating nude looks, there is certainly plenty to get adventurous with in this with 32 colours and time to play with burnt orange tones! I’ll need some courage for those but I’m determined to give it a go and not go to brown or grey as default.
The Makeup Revolution Flawless Matte 2 is £8 HERE.

All that for £8?!? Incredible! They look like they have nice pigmentation too!

Hahah, I’d been wondering, because it did show up on my reader, but the link went nowhere. Figured the review got posted prematurely by accident and then deleted.
Hrm, so it looks a lot like the original Flawless Matte (as in, mostly nude shades, so sick and tired of them by now), with bits of blue and purple and red added in. Definitely like it better than the original though, might try to sell it and get this one instead . . .
The funny thing is, I actually prefer the original!
I love the more natural shades in this palette. I would def buy. I am on the hunt after using my Naked palette for over a year and a half. I was thinking Too Faced but I like the look of this one!!

Orange shades are wonderful for enhancing blue eyes. I have done this for ages but it’s really hard to find orange eyeshadow (not bright orange obvs but earthy bricky orange tones). This looks great and I will be buying!
OMG!!!!! I want this palette!!!
I love that they included a few more interesting shades in this one, I’ll definitely be adding it to my collection!
