The Untouchables: Part Deux

Okay, so the beauty room has been knocked into some kind of order but I kept stopping to take pictures of long forgotten about things. I’m too much of a magpie, clearly, but they do chart the beauty road I’ve travelled so I’m reluctant to get rid of them.

This is really tricky to capture on camera, but it is a clear gloss that has a 3D hologram effect running through it so that the white double ccs look like they surface to the top of the gloss.. very clever, and this was from Autumn 2003. It is very rare indeed.

These funny biscuity things from Pupa must be about ten years old.. I’d never seen anything like them: they’re lip and cheek colours.

From 2004, the Chanel Artist Palette at the time cost £29.50… how very reasonable!! I actually bought this in Las Vegas and it is still in the most immaculate condition as I just couldn’t bring myself to use it.

This is the Dior Princess Ring released in the summer of 2005.

This is a very rare Christian Lacroix face powder palette.. I have no clue where I got it.. I have absolutely no memory of it at all!

Gosh! they all look so amazing!

  2. The Gouaches de Chanel palette is the only makeup item I regret not purchasing, every time I see it I feel like kicking myself.

Although at that time it felt like a lot of money especially as I was under the impression each tube cost £29.50!

The Gouaches de Chanel looks amazing. In 2004 I was still 13 and my mother had just pushed concealer my way! I can’t imagine what they would charge for it now.

  4. I absolutely love all of it! The Chanel gloss is really cool, and the Pupa colors are just adorable.

  5. I remember the Lacroix, it was one of sephora’s special designer collaborations. around spring 2003 or 2004!
