There’s something about this super berry infused oil that marks it out as a cut above almost all other oils. It’s meant for the face, but I’ve tested it on my hands and there is just no doubt that one hand looks distinctly better than the other after only a few days. The oil has staying power; it doesn’t just disappear into that unknown place that makes your skin feel it’s never had any nourishment about half an hour later (one of my bug bears with hand-cream). Instead, it softens instantly and at least a couple of hours after application, I can still feel a light – but not in the slightest bit greasy or oily – film across my hand.

What I like about Trilogy as a whole is that they’re bullshit averse – they’re very true to their natural status and give all their profit from Helping Handwash to Child’s i Foundation. Not a portion, not a percentage.. but the whole lot.

Back to the oil – it’s got tomato seed oil (packed with lycopene), cranberry seed oil, acai seed oil, oat extract and of course, rosehip oil, which all adds up to a whole lot of antioxidants. If you’re looking for a winter oil to protect and nourish your skin, I can’t recommend this highly enough and at £26.50, it’s very well priced. www.trilogyproducts.co.uk
