The regular, pink tube Hand Chemistry is my go-to hand cream – it’s one of my top recommends for really getting hands looking and feeling smoother, but I think I’m now a convert to Hand Chemistry Extreme Hydration Concentrate. It’s a bit of an unusual product in that it feels different to any other I’ve used – almost slippy, I think I would say, so I would recommend you use last thing at night or on the tops of the hands only. The slippiness goes away quite quickly, but I’d still think twice before emptying the dishwasher after using it!

When it comes to ingredients, Deciem is an exciting brand. It’s privately owned and not yet a massive corporation so they are quite experimental with textures and ingredients. But, when you get an ingredient like Pseudoalterononas Complex which I can’t even say, let alone break down into something sensible, you either have to trust the brand on their claims or not. I’m finding Hand Chemistry Extreme Hydration Concentrate to be incredibly good (it’s like Hand Chemistry in that the best results come after ten days or so) although I’m at the early stages of use. The only thing I really don’t like is the smell – it’s a bit.. er, blokey!
I can definitely feel the protective layer which gives a silky feel to my skin. If you like the regular Hand Chemistry, then I think you will like this as well – just remember the slip, and that’s it’s for very dry skin. It’s Hand Chemistry Extreme Hydration is £18.99 HERE.

I wish the second biggest ingredient wasn’t silicone 🙁
I don’t really have a problem with silicone.. (it does feel siliconey though).. but I know a lot of people don’t like it in their products. Not sure my hair could do without it to be honest!
Great to see all the ingredients listed !
Thank you so much for listing the ingredients. I really appreciate it as I’m allergic to dimethicone.
Silicon oils are used in medicines for dry skin conditions, seems logical they would put it into a product for dry hand cream. I will have to give this a try, thank you Jane, have never heard of this brand before.
