Deciem are quick to put their spin on the current trend for sleeping masks – their first overnight mask is for hair with Overnight To Gorgeous, with some absolutely beautiful detailing on the packaging.

There are very few hair masks on the market that you apply to dry hair. I hate washing my hair – if there is one beauty chore that I’d happily ditch, it’s that. It’s not so much the washing, it’s more the drying, so if you add in a mask after shampooing, 99 times out of 100, the instructions are that you have leave it for twenty minutes or so before having to get back into the shower you’ve just left to rinse it off. I object to getting back in! That’s another shivery dry to do when I didn’t even want to do the first one. I know, I’m making a fuss.. but it is my beauty bug-bear. So the good thing about the Grow Gorgeous Hair Mask is that you apply it to dry hair. Whew! Then the very most you have to do is sleep before washing and rinsing in the morning.
The mask formula is very light so you’re not lying with a gunky head all night, and it contains low molecular hyaluronic acid, mushroom extracts and acai for a hydration and strengthening boost. It’s a slight mis-timing for me to trial this because it’s so soon after my keratin treatment, and I don’t need any hydration at all, but I did want to see if it felt weird sleeping in it. It didn’t.
I love Deciem formulas – so far, they haven’t put a foot wrong in terms of their products doing what they say they will. But, I would question why this product is in such a giant tube when a quarter of it is air.
Anyway, if you want to take the faff out of hair masks, the Deciem Grow Gorgeous Hair Mask is £22 HERE.

That packaging is super cute! I love the little sheep, but you are right about the waste of packaging! This definitely sounds like my sort of hair mask, I sometimes leave oils etc on my hair over night and wash them out in the morning, but even tough I put a towel on my pillow, it still ends up being messy! This sounds like the perfect solution!

Looks like a nice product Jane. To be honest, I use lots of ordinary hair masks on dry hair overnight and have found that they work pretty well that way as long as they aren’t too oily/greasy so that they don’t end up on my pillow and give me spots! I agree with you – I know I don’t leave a mask on long enough during the day with rushing about, being too cold etc….I then wash my hair in the morning and leave out the conditioning bit. I got this advice from a friend who runs a well-known salon in Manchester. Works for me anyway! Clare x
Sounds perfect I too hate having to go back in the shower to wash off masks. I will be trying this product very soon.
