The Giorgio Armani spring 2014 collection is more about a look than new product, but next season’s must-have palette is above; a shimmering champagne highlighter embossed with a Belladonna flower (Deadly Nightshade). The texture is beautiful; a gel to powder formula that is very soft to the touch.

As a general rule, I’m not a highlighter fan, but because it’s a champagne shade I think the palette is much more flattering and warm, and I’d use it on my eyes. It’s more of a gentle sheen than shimmer, thankfully, and (I’m advised) you could wear it under foundation to boost glow (haven’t tried this) or to accent cheekbones.
There are major things coming next year for Giorgio Armani cosmetics – it’s a brand to watch in 2014.

Something about this has drawn me in, like, I want to lick it. I love a champagne highlighter, this I think I’d just keep in my handbag to look at if ever feeling sad. Isn’t it funny the effects beauty products have on us? Great post 🙂 x
