I think that foundations are Estee Lauder’s strongest point. I’ve been using various Lauder bases for years on and off, and keep Estee Lauder Re-Nutriv Ultimate Radiance in my drawer at all times – but it’s £63! Yikes..that’s absolutely at the very extreme end of what I’d be prepared to spend on a foundation.
So, I’m liking the look of Estee Lauder Youth Infusing Make-Up SPF25 a lot. Perfectionist Serum is something of a hero skincare product for Lauder to smooth and freshen more mature skin, so if it is as Re-Nutriv is – a skincare packed foundation – we have something to look forward to.
I’ve also spotted the Estee Lauder Pure Color Crystal Baby Make-up Collection for the Asian market (although it may roll out to the US). Based on the best selling Crystal Baby Pure Colour Lipstick shade, which in Asia is thought to bring good luck and happiness (yes please, more of that!) it’s a best seller. So, there will be shades for lips, nails and cheeks focussing on baby pinks, corals and nudes – oh, and there’s a Crystal Baby Shimmer Powder, too!
