Bourjois Waterproof Clubbing Eyeliners

I love bright liners – it’s the one place I feel I can get away with being more adventurous with make-up; red eyeliner is a favourite. So, Bourjois Waterproof Clubbing Eyeliners – especially the brights – have got me interested straight away. Bourjois is a favourite brand – they rarely get it wrong – so I have high hopes. I’ll have samples to swatch later in the week.

A good tip for wearing bright liners – especially if they’re way out of your comfort zone – is to line with a waterproof or smudgeproof black first, then the bright colour on top. It just stops it looking too starey and rabbit-eyed.

We won’t see these in stores until June, but another Bourjois newbie to look out for around the same time is Liner Feutre in Gold Shine; an addition to Violine and Moka Brown. Unlike Bourjois Waterproof Clubbing Eyeliners, Liner Feutre is a pen-like liner – imagine shimmering gold lids at sunset. Yes! Liner Feutre will be £6.99 and Bourjois Waterproof Clubbing Eyeliners will be £4.99 each.

  3. These look really nice, I think I’d definitely use the darker ones, not too sure about the brights just yet as I’ve never tried it!

I have a red eye-liner somewhere, but I’ve never figured out how to use it without looking like I’ve just watched a really sad film. I’d love to know how you wear it.

try wearing it on the top lid only but line really really close to the lash line with a dark black liner first.. so you almost have a two line effect..first black then red. The black bit should be the lesser of the two but you need it to stop the sad film eye 😉

Love bright liners do put above a thin line of black on the top lashline. I’ll admit, liquid or fluidline is my favourite to do this with, but that won’t stop me from buying the hot pink and the turquoise!

  7. I love wearing bright eyeliners & think they are an easy wear of adding colour to a look. These Bourjois ones look pretty & very bright. Looking forward to seeing swatches
