There are so many brush sets around at the moment but the bareMinerals Brush Set stands out as being one of the best so far, not least because the presentation is great. I know it’s a cosmetic thing, but stripey brushes just seem more interesting visually than plain ones. And the brushes come in a red patent bag that is all kinds of stylish.
The set includes a face brush, a tapered blush brush, a tapered crease brush and a line diffuser brush – all of which adds up to a pretty useful and pretty-looking set.
And, while I’m thinking about brushes – why do we need long handled brushes anyway? I can’t say I’ve ever bought a brush thinking, ‘ooh, good, the handle is nice and long’… I’ll leave you with that beauty poser and let you know that the set is £29 and launches November.

This set looks beautiful – I was going to invest in a Bobbi Brown brush I’ve coveted for months which is £30 in its own – but this set may be a better option, fab glossy case too!

ooh, I’m on the lookout for some brushes – do you know if they’re synthetic or not Jane? I really don’t like the idea of animal hair although I know serious make-up peeps swear by them..But hey, I was 46 before I ever used a make-up brush…

These look fab! I’m very late to the party and just really starting to discover bareminerals. I’m using one of their foundations and I love it! I may just add these brushes to my Christmas list, thanks for sharing

Are these brushes real hair or synthetic? I have a few bareMinerals brushes and the real hair face brushes can be a bit scratchy.
