There has been so much hype around this advent calendar, and to be honest, rightly so. When I got my calendar to review for this post, I didn’t really check the product content list first – I could hardly believe my eyes when a Shay & Blue Roller Ball in Blood Oranges came out of one of the first boxes!
The terms are the same as last year – spend £35 on home, beauty or fashion at M&S (easily done!) and then you can buy the calendar for £35. The contents have a value of £250 (ish) and I quite honestly can’t see a single thing in it that hasn’t earned it’s place. There’s even a red and white dotty make up bag in the roof so you have somewhere to keep everything. It’s little things about this calendar (HERE) that are impressive: it’s not flimsy (save for someone else another year and fill with sample sizes throughout the year), the sticky labels that hold it together don’t rip the paper when you take them off to unwrap, and every inch of the box is used.
Above is the full content list with some real stand outs such as Emma Hardie Moringa Balm, Diego Dalla Palma Mascara (which I’ve seen rave reviews for) and Nuxe Shower Oil.
This is M&S’s own pic – I can only dream of having the space to take a shot like this! I don’t know how many calendars M&S have, but I will guarantee they will sell out in a very quick time. Go HERE fast as you can!

I bought last year’s version and wasn’t disappointed with either the contents or the calendar. Surprisingly they had lots of stock in one of the big stores on the M25 dotted around the shop floor, many, many days after it had sold out online so it’s worth checking in store availability.
Just ordered mine with school uniform & a few Christmas gifts.
Thanks Jane
