I think you could say that these individual face wipes by Lauren Napier are an attempt to upgrade the wipe to something more special. Lauren Napier is a US make-up artist – I could run down a long, long list of impressive celebrities that she’s worked on, but I’ll leave it at Lady Gaga and you get the ilk we’re talking about. So, it’s fair to say that Lauren knows skin.
The wipes contain aloe, chamolilla and cucumber so they’re geared towards being soothing and gentle on the complexion. But, honestly – I didn’t really see much improvement over regular wipes and was quite disappointed at how ordinary they actually are in use.
The clear advantage is the individual wrapping (or a disadvantage if you are eco minded) and just chucking a few in your bag for convenience, but on a cost per go basis, this makes the Cleanse By Lauren Napier wipes prohibitive for most at £8 for a pack of 5, £15 for 15 and £33 for 50. I can see a one off for a festival or trip, but can’t see it for regular, daily routine use. Mine are from BeautyMart HERE and I’ll be interested to see how long the brand stays around.
