Essie Gel Setter had the ultimate test – over Chanel Rouge Noir. While this isn’t the most perfect manicure of my life (especially when it’s magnified – it looked a lot better in real size!) it does show how incredibly shiny Essie Gel Setter is. By the name, you’ll probably guess that it’s a gel like coating for nails, but it’s also a quick dry – I never thought that Seche Vite could be replaced from my list of absolute essentials, but it is now! There’s not a whole lot more to say on it – it’s super, super shiny and dries your mani quickly – doing everything it’s claiming to do. It’s also cheaper than Seche at £9.99 HERE.
I’ve also been using on and off the Rescue RXx by CND which I really think has made a difference to the condition of my nails. Because my nails are often painted, I haven’t been able to have an uninterupted run at it, instead, using it over weekends and cutting back on how often I have painted nails in the week over a period of time. It’s a Keratin protein treatment with jojoba oil (not vegan friendly as the keratin comes from sheep’s wool), but if your nails are dry or peeling it’s a high recommend from me.
A highly effective new treatment from CND that repairs damaged nails with the power of Keratin protein and moisturizing jojoba oil. You can find a store locator HERE but I’ve spotted it on Amazon.
