[unpaid/ad/sample/affiliate] Give me a translucent gloss and I’m happy all day – pack it with mint and tingles and I’m not quite so happy! But MAC’s Plenty Of Pout Plumping Lip Gloss definitely has a bit of power behind it on the plumping front. My sample shade is Touch of Reverence but I note that there is only a clear version left on line. Funnily enough, I’d opt for that in any case because it does double duty as an any-colour topper or just as a sheen for nude looks. But, your lips will feel like you laid a Polo mint on them for a little while (although the zingy ingredient is billed as ginger).

They might well have this shade in store but everywhere I’ve checked on line doesn’t.

The lipstick I have is Skew, described as coral with pink duochrome. I have to say the duochrome element wasn’t apparent when I swatched it. Duochrome is when a colour shifts depending on the light so it’s not a surprise that it wasn’t immediately visible. It’s £17.50 and the Lip gloss is £19.
