[unpaid/sample] I’m calling This Is Silk Power Up Barrier Booster ‘Secret Sauce’ because it’s such a tiny product but can pack a mighty punch in the skin care stakes. It’s sold out four times since it launched. I’m just adding two drops of the concentrate to any bases such as skin tints or foundations that I’m using but you can add it to your skin care to ‘power’ it up if you prefer.
I’m a reluctant convert to the size – initially I thought that the bottle was just too small to be credible but in fact, you only need two tiny drops to get the best of the blend of silk (which has 80% amino acids in common with humans), ceramides and niacinamide.
At £24 it seems on budget to boost up your existing skin care to give it a bit more ‘winter’ energy. I’m not necessarily a believer that you need to swap your skin care seasonally but many of us do need a bit more hydration and redness reduction. There’s nothing like that weather change to bring on the redness! After two weeks (I’m on week one and liking it already) you should see a ‘boost’ to whatever your existing skin care is giving you in terms of smoothness and skin creasing.
