Today is turning out to be a very good beauty day! The gorgeous things just keep on appearing. The Dolce & Gabbana Sicilian Bronzer is from their Summer In Italy collection which I haven’t managed to swatch up yet, so thought I’d drop a post on the main event from the collection until I can get to it.
The inspiration behind the decoration on the packaging and the palette is caretto carvings, a theme seen in their accessory collection for summer, too. A caretto is a colourful, ornate style of cart specific to Sicily – I had no clue but I’ve enjoyed looking this up and finding out more about it. Several provinces within Sicily have their own individual patterns and they usually depict historical scenes in bright and often geometrical patterns. You learn something every day!
I’ll get the bronzer swatched along with the rest of the collection and show you fully as soon as I can.
