[unpaid/sample/affiliate/ad] It’s been such a long while since I’ve used Elasticizer – the godfather of all conditioning treatments, created by Philip Kingsley in 1974. When I was working for print, it was always rumoured that all the models were secretly sent for the famous Elasticizer treatment before they went on shampoo shoots so their hair would look extra glossy in the ads.

Elasticizer Therapies Sicilian Lemon and Bergamot Deep-Conditioning Treatment

Every year the brand creates a limited edition Elasticizer and this year it’s Sicilian Lemon & Bergamot which is delicious. It’s got a bit of lemon sherbet about it – a fizz in the notes that I really liked. If you haven’t used Elasticizer before, it’s a deep conditioning treatment that you put on your day hair for about 20 minutes to half an hour before shampooing and conditioning.

If your hair is prone to breakage, this is one to consider because one of its fortes is helping to reduce that particular condition. Otherwise, you can expect soft and swishy hair with extra shine and hydration – it’s a good product to have if your hair gets a bit frazzled over the summer. Escentual has it for £34 (it’s usually £40) or a smaller 75ml size for £20.40 HERE.
