B Makeup Revamp

B Makeup Revamp

Yesterday was the launch of the revamped B Makeup range. Let’s face it… it needed it. I think it’s a little disappointing that it’s yet another black packaged range – but the colours are making up for it and it’s a level up in sleekness. Especially of note is the capsule Cassie Lomas collaboration – I’ve known Cassie for years and she is a hugely talented makeup artist so I’m thrilled that this has happened. The star of the collection of pieces I’ve been sent is the Cassie Sheer Liquid Illuminator – I’ve already mixed it with the creme blush to create a light hit cheek tint. There is plenty of pigment in the tint so it mixes to a gorgeous rosy, sheeny pink.

If you’re keen to try one thing from the range, make it this. It’s a versatile and value for money buy at £9.99.

I love the lipsticks, too. The pink is Mrs Jones in the Lumious Silk formula while the nude shade is Frow in the Velvet Matte texture. They’re both £6.99.

Here they are swatched up.

Since I love a creme blush, this is speaking to me! It’s officially a lip and cheek tint but I’ve found it’s better just used as a blush. It’s £6.99 and comes in six shades.

The shade is Crimson Caress and it’s swatched next to Matte Liquid Lip (£6.99) in Pinky Promise and the Cassie Highlighter.

This is Crimson Caress mixed with highlighter.

So, I’m curious to know what you think of the revamp? I know there are a lot more products to come which I’ll see and blog in due course. I’d love to see a Cassie palette to be honest. The new collection launches on 31st May at Superdrug.

  1. I feel like these combined lip/cheek products only ever work on one part of the face. Or have you found some that work equally great on lips and cheeks?

I don’t think I’ve ever found one that does both really well… they’re usually best for cheeks I have found.
