[sample/affiliate] I love a coffret! I know they’re a little bit old-fashioned but the glamour of them has never faded although they’re going to have to move with the eco-conscious times and cut out the plastic. I think we may well see a change next year because everyone is reviewing their plastic use.
In this particular set, you get a mini 5ml The One, 100ml perfumed body lotion and a 50ml The One. If you’ve not smelled this before, it’s categorised as an oriental floral but don’t be thinking Opium! It’s no where near that oriental because it’s cut by white flowers so nicely that any spicier notes are rounded and smoothed out.
I think you might pick out the lychee and peach notes – there’s definitely a delicate fruity element – but I’m getting a lot of lily and vanilla (actually rather pleasant) with the floral notes. It settled into my skin as a warm and lightly sweet fragrance that I’d be happy to wear – it smells expensive (which indeed it is, but not ‘artisan’ expensive ;-0 ) – in the day or in the evening. The last is excellent on me and I love the little one because yes, it’s tiny and cute. I don’t think you’d want both body lotion and fragrance at the same time – I found the lotion generous on fragrance although not as long lasting.
I’ve had a long scoot about on the interweb for prices which vary wildly for this but I think your best deal is at Boots HERE where it’s £62.90 instead of £74 (correct at the time of writing). I think you may find it drops lower nearer to Christmas or straight after if you aren’t in a hurry. Non affiliate HERE.

I’d be prepared to put money down to bet that you won’t have experienced a skin care texture like this before...
