Odacite Jasmine Whisper Body Oil

[unpaid/sample/affiliate/ad] We are definitely in treat territory with the new Odacite Jasmine Whisper Hemp & Jojoba Body Oil but my goodness, it’s a lovely thing! The last (and only) thing I’ve tried from this French vegan brand is the Mood Cleansing Bath Soak (HERE) and that was sensational so it seems that the fragrance element of Odacite is the key to a loyal following. They’re refined, punchy and hit an olfactory spot that others seem to miss.

I used to be sceptical about hemp oil (well, mainly its claims) until I got to know it a little better (and it’s in my Japanese Cleansing Cloud as a main component – by the way, have finally managed to order more due mid-February). Once the hempy smell is gone, it’s a power player in terms of skin nourishment, containing linoleic acid and oleic acids,. It also contains Meadowfoam Seed Oil which is one of the most lovely oils although the first listed oil on the INCI is safflower. Nonetheless, it’s all a combination that works so well to give a silkening finish to the skin and provide flexibility and softness.

You do have to love the scent of jasmine – in fact, it also contains ylang ylang which comes through well in combination to create a heady, night bloom aroma that’s nothing short of sumptuous. If these aren’t your scents then it’s not for you but I loved the way the scent kept a trail through the night. I guess it’s not supposed to be your daily hydrator but more for occasional mood boosts or special times because at £52 HERE, non-affiliate HERE, it’s a budget-blower.
