I love this little mask from natural skin care brand, Weleda, designed for sensitive skin. My skin doesn’t have sensitivities but I enjoyed using it. The most stand out thing is that it really does cool the skin; it comes out of the tube as a rather alarming yellow colour but it fades away quickly as you spread it over the complexion Containing organic almond oil, cucumber extracts and jojoba oil, it’s incredibly moisturising as well and I could feel the cooling effect for quite some time after I’d used it.
The only down point is that although it is fragrance free, this leaves a bit of a ‘raw material’ smell – to feel truly pampered, I’d have liked a dash of rose essence or something. At £11.95, it’s a reasonably affordable boost for sensitive winter skins, but the tube is 30ml – quite small.

The wild rose range is wonderful for dry skins. Their Skin Food is another one that I’ve bought to replace hand cream in my bag. I’m supposed to be sent some of the new Pomegranate range to try; I opted for the serum and the body oil.
Sounds good. My skin is so sensitive that I can only use super-plain products. I’m hoping to find something that my skin likes that’s also a pleasure to use – might give this a go.
