Sensitive Skin Review

[unpaid/sample/affiliate/ad] I’m honestly so grateful for brands like Avene that enable people with very sensitive skin to enjoy skin care. Lucy (my daughter) has exceptionally sensitive skin – especially in winter – so Avene Tolerance Hydra 10 came at the right time. To be honest, Avene is about all she uses with the exception of Sali Hughes x Revolution Gel Quench which she can inexplicably wear with no problems at all.

Avene

Tolerance Hydra-10 Fluid is lightweight and ideal for day time or under make up. I like the fact that it is skin microbiome friendly because these things feel more important when your skin is reactive, and that it’s non-greasy. For a light fluid, it packs a hydrating punch with hyaluronic acid amongst the relatively light load 9 ingredients.

The Hydra 10 Cream is super moisturising and protecting. You can use it as a face mask if you prefer by leaving it on for ten minutes or so and then removing, but otherwise, it’s more for overnight or very, very dry skin days. With both, you can use around the eye area which gets rid of the problem of finding an eye cream. Crucially, both are fragrance and preservative free. Escentual.com is running its 1/3 off French Pharmacy brands at the moment so instead of £18, the creams are £12 HERE and on that basis I wouldn’t hesitate. I’ve just sent Lucy a reminder to stock up on Avene SPF as well.
