I decided to ask around a few brands to see what products make-up artists most regularly call in to use on celebs, shoots and runways – if they can’t live without them, how can we?! Funnily enough, I haven’t ever used most of them (amending that, stat).
So here we go, kicking off with Clinique:
Most Requested: Clinique Air Brush ConcealerApparently, this is the product that won’t stay on the shelves at Clinique for its ability to banish all known dark circles! It’s £17 HERE and comes in 4 shades.

Over at Illamasqua, Cream Pigment in Hollow is loved by make-up artist who use it to contour. It’s £17.50 HERE.

Guerlain’s hot product is Terracotta Four Seasons in the Nude shade (above) for a healthy, all-over glowy finish right before the catwalk. I’ve really had to trawl around to find somewhere that has it in stock, and it’s HERE reduced from £46.50 to £38.75.

Over at Origins, No Puffery Cooling Mask for eyes apparently is the thing that many make-up artists request for erasing the morning-after-the-night-before on their models! It’s HERE for £21.
Most Requested: Givenchy Mister LightNo surprises… another concealer! This time, it’s Givenchy Mister Light to forgive and forget those dark shadows. It’s £23 HERE.
Most Requested: Maybelline Mega PlushAt Maybelline, the most requested product from make-up artists is Mega Plush Mascara for sky high lashes. It’s a gel-mousse formula which means it doesn’t dry on the lashes and flake-off.. important on a long shoot, I should imagine. It’s £5.99 HERE.
Most Requested: DiorShow Blackout MascaraAnd, finally, over at Dior, Diorshow Blackout Mascara is the one that everyone wants! It’s £23 HERE.
So there we go.. I quite like the idea of having a make-up bag full of stuff the experts love.
