Shiseido Fullmake Washable Base

Erm… okay, wow! This is a new innovation from Shiseido – a make up base that doesn’t need cleanser. To explain – the base uses a film-forming agent (Veil Action Polymer) that when blended with warm water detaches the base from the skin. Anything that you’ve used over the base, such as blush, will come away too. Oh, and it doesn’t react to cold water so you won’t lose your entire look if it rains.

Fullmake Washable Base also contains a whack of hyaluronic, and helps bind foundation and other make up to the skin.. so, the dream primer, in other words. I have absolutely no idea when we might see this here; it’s on pre-sale in Japan although not slated to go on shelves til March. Hurry up, Shiseido!!

  1. Not Just Inside

This will either be absolutely amazing or it will fail spectacularly

  2. I’m sorry but I’m not sure I understand, is this like a peel off mask of sorts? If that’s the case then I’m more than intrigued.

No it’l be like applying a second layer of skin (or primer in this case) and you get to wash it off with warm water, taking with anything you applied on top. Brilliant if they can pull it off 🙂

      1. Oh now that’s interesting & makes more sens. Thanks Phil! xx
