Your purse springs have to quiver a bit at the thought of shelling out £40 for a lipstick – it certainly makes mine a little afraid. That’s how much a Sensai lipstick costs.. but oh! What a lipstick!
The one I have here is Shade 09 and called Tsuyabeni and it is quite honestly one of the most pigment-packed reds I have ever come across. Apart from having a deliciously slick texture, the other thing I really noticed is that it really doesn’t smell of anything much. Some lipsticks are really strongly fragranced and I find that unbalancing really – I don’t want the scent of rose or vanilla or mint on my mouth.. it’s weird.
I think if you are a red lipstick fan, this really might be one for the collection. Find it HERE

Never seen this brand but the lipstick looks super pigmented. Perfect for this upcomgin season!
This will probably turn out to be excellent value for money, as you don’t need to smear on loads of layers to get good payoff. Right?
A bit pricey, but I would be very pleased if I got this as a present. It’s a really nice colour – like a true red.
I prefer Kanebo Sensai skincare and makeup range over Cle de Peau’s. Kanebo has some amazing offerings, love their Sensai Silk skincare line and their foundation.
