Ruby Red Body Cleanser

If you’re a fan of natural body products and you love a zesty invigorating morning shower, then Ruby Red will tick your boxes. I really loved the fragrance to this – sharp without attacking (sorry, but I’m not ready for any assault on the senses first thing!) and beautifully fresh. It’s the scent of zest rather than fruit that makes the difference, I think.

As it uses botanical glucosides found in corn and coconut to cleanse, it’s very gentle on delicate skin and it’s very nice for sensitive skin types to have something more interesting to use than the usual zero smell stuff. There’s also a healthy whack of aloe vera to soothe and soften. At £32 for 500ml, it’s quite pricy, but that said, if you do have sensitivities then it’s a worthwhile pamper.

I’ve been a fan of this range for a long time now, mostly for refusing to look worthy and apologetic like many natural brands. Find it HERE

The ingredient list is here:

Aqua(Water), Cocamidopropyl Betaine(derived from natural sugars and fatty acids), Lauryl Glucoside (derived from Coconut), Sodium Lauroyl Sarcosinate ( derived from soya bean), Coco-Glucoside (derived from Coconut and fruit sugar), Aloe Vera Leaf, Potassium Sorbate, Sodium Benzoate, Citric Acid, Citrus aurantifolia (Lime) Peel oil, Citrus nobilis (Mandarin) Peel oil, Cedrus Atlantica (Cedarwood) Bark oil, Coriandrum Sativum (Coriander) Seed oil.

I’ve never heard of this brand, but I love discovering new natural beauty products. Is there just this one scent or is there more in the collection?
