[unpaid/sample] Make-up Artist, Ruby Hammer, has extended the colour line for her beautiful lip serum balms.

The three new shades are Berry, Gold FX and Pink. The finish is dewy with a little pearlescence so while the shades aren’t highly pigmented, you draw lots of light to the lips. They’re honestly the easiest of wears.

If you have lots of lip colours already, the most useful is going to be Gold FX because it gives a low key shimmer wash over anything you’re already wearing, such as a lip tint. Bear in mind that any oils will break down the matte finish but given how much I’m not a fan of matte, a crayon like Gold FX brings them back to life in a way that’s wearable for me. It just gives you more options on finish.

Here’s how they are on me left to right: Pink, Gold FX, Berry. I like all of them but the chocolate berry tone is delicious – hand me a black polo neck and some kohl and I’m in! They’re £18 each HERE and the one note I’d make is to ensure you put the lids back on properly – I’ve made the mistake of not pushing it on thoroughly enough and ended up covered :-).
