Ruby Hammer Mascara Brow Duo

[unpaid/sample] Hot on the heels of Ruby’s blush sticks is this great little duo comprising a brow gel and a mascara. The notable thing about the mascara is that the wand is so thin! And yet, it gives mighty lash.

Now, I must admit that I’m not that great with double ended things – it’s a bit like left and right in that I am very easily confused. So, it’s lucky that there is a good fitting seal that only allows the brushes out rather than any product because somehow I ended up holding an open end upside down.

See? That is one slender wand! In fact they’re both slender but it’s more unusual in a mascara brush than a brow brush. You can play around with application – a swift sweep will give you perfect ‘weekend’ brows but an extra coat will power them up no end.

Of course, there is always an extra with Ruby’s products – the mascara contains caffeine, copper tri-peptides, hydrolyzed hyaluronic acid, tri-peptides and pentapeptides so that you get an effective conditioning with each wear. Something to consider for fragile lashes. I’m not a big brow groomer because I don’t have wayward brow hairs – they just sit there and there’s nothing much to ‘tame’ so I can’t say whether it’s effective for that or not.
