I know from my Twitter timeline that Rihanna is somewhat controversial, so I’ll pretty much stick to the facts on this one.
Nude launches in the UK in March; according to Fragrantica it’s a sweet floral with a vanilla (sigh) background, and feedback on that site is that it is really rather lovely. I’m curious mainly about how it came to be called Nude when there was so much fuss about Stella McCartney’s Nude and Nude’s Nude (Stella McCartney famously rode roughshod over Nude’s (the skin care brand) patent of a fragrance of the same name).
So, what do you say? Is this something you’d buy into?

I wouldn’t buy into this, no. Part of buying a fragrance in my opinion is buying into the image and Rihanna’s isn’t an image I want any part of.
Why is Rihanna so controversial? I agree with Lily, that when you are buying a fragrance and a celebrity stands behind it you really want someone you respect.
