Perfect Nude Liner & Lipstick Combo from MAC

[unpaid/sample/affiliate/ad] I’ve never really found a nude that I’m truly at home in – I like them with a bit of grey in the background, or heathery tones somewhere but not enough that they make into my regular wear list. I did something on Instagram the other day about nudes and not suiting them and so many people recommended that a lip liner with a nude shade is essential. Of course, the wisdom of Instagram was absolutely correct.

MAC sent me a selection of nudes and reds for National Lipstick Day (which of course, I forgot) but it did give me the opportunity to actually try a selection. I use the combination of Whirl (liner) and Thanks, It’s MAC (sheen lipstick) first and knew straight away it was the right double act for me.

I haven’t used a lip liner for years – I’d just written it off as a product that wasn’t necessary but it elevated the nude lip look so much that now I don’t know how long I was without it.

So, that’s Whirl on its own with no lipstick – it’s a kind of dusty rose-ish shade.

And that’s both together. It just looks so ‘done’ – I love it. Because it’s a Lustreglass formula, I don’t find it drying and I love the sheen it gives. On the MAC site, I think TIM looks lighter than it is in real life, but it’s exactly correct in this picture. If you’re nude shy, give it a try – I didn’t think I’d love it and I really do. Whirl is £22 HERE, and Thanks, It’s MAC is £24 HERE.

Definitely going to try this – I have the exact same issue with nude lips – I’ve never found the right one. I see the lipstick has gone up by £2 since the review in May!
    Thanks for this! X
