I’ve got lots of places to send you onto today, starting with La Roche Posay’s gorgeous video highlighting the importance of being skin aware in the sun. A survey in the UK revealed that while 94% of respondents understood that sun exposure can cause issues, only 12% protected their sun all year round. And only 3% had their moles checked. So the La Roche Skinchecker video is well worth a watch to put sun damage to the front of our minds and not only check ourselves but our friends, too. You can find it HERE. There’s a Too Cute warning on this one!Off The Cuff Podcast
My YouTube partner in crime, Simon (TheverysimonG), and I did a podcast – our first ever – the other day. Back of the story is that we were given a room at One Aldwych to record in so check-in wasn’t awkward MUCH! Nobody said anything out loud but clearly, we looked a very odd couple! We chatted about how blogging is now. It’s HERE if you want to listen to it.
If you don’t know Ateh Jewel, she’s an amazing beauty writer and film maker, starting her own channel, JewelTonesBeauty on YouTube soon. Ateh has the low down on all things textured hair and darker skin tones so it’s well worth subscribing HERE.
My latest YouTube with Simon is all about Korean Grooming for guys (and girls!) looking at products that we can buy here to stay with the trend. I get Simon trying all sorts of masks and lotions – my only regret is that we didn’t have the Psy sheet mask for him to have a go with! It’s HERE if you’d like to watch. We definitely have some fun with these…
Finally, a Kindle book for beauty lovers to help them get to grips with ingredients. Colin is a beauty product formulator, and has been exceptionally helpful in the past when I’ve got stuck or bamboozled by brand claims. There is nothing he doesn’t know about cosmetic ingredients and if you want to bone up about what does what in your beauty products, you need to read this. It’s £1.99 on Kindle HERE.
