Mario Badescu Drying Lotion

Those of you who remember when HQHair.com launched as one of the first on-line beauty retailers in the UK might remember that it was one of the very few places in the UK that you could get your hands on Mario Badescu Drying Lotion – a spot clearer using calomine and salicylic acid for quick clear up and calming action that sold by the bucket load. It’s really hard to find now, so I’m just flagging up that I’ve spotted (see what I did there?) it as an on-line exclusive at Urban Outfitters HERE. It’s £16.

I also noticed that Urban Outfitters stock the Andrea Garland vintage inspired lip balm range – this little kitty has to be sweetest ever! It’s £15 HERE.

The drying loton is also available from Liberty (instore) and Beautybay.com
Can I also mention, when I purchased my bottle the pink stuff is only one third of the bottle and no way as filled up as the one in the display picture!

Oh, thanks so much for your input there.. very useful for potential customers. Did you find it worked for you though?

So far so good, shrunken my spots quite quickly. Smells medicinal but it is not too offensive. Definately a night time use product as the treatment is quite obvious.
Oh don’t do what I did initially – which was give the bottle a good shake!

I think Payot’s Pate Grise is better. Definitely kinder to surrounding skin.

The lotion has been the only thing that has ever cleared my spots up – especially the under-the-skin ones.. shame it rubs off so much overnight. You need to keep dead still to keep it on!

I love Pate Grise……My Mum was a Payot aesthetician when I was a teenager and I’ve used it ever since. Great stuff 🙂

This did absolutely nothing for me and the whole ‘keep it upright, don’t mix the bottle!’ kind of freaked me out.
