[unpaid/sample/affiliate/ad] Wow – so, if luxury body products are your beauty weakness, read on. I’ve had this waiting to try for a few weeks now and have only just got to it in the past couple of days. I stopped taking my skin supplements for a couple of weeks – I just kept forgetting to be honest and also a bit of me wanted to see if there’s any difference whatsoever if I don’t take them. Let me tell you, there sure is, which is how I came to trial Hibernicis.

Hibernicis Body Serum & Lotion Review

Starting with the body serum – the scent is lovely; not in the least overwhelming but a light trail of jasmine and neroli and the texture is just *chef’s kiss*. It’s possibly one of the most silkening and softening body products I’ve ever used thanks to sodium hyaluronate (a derivative of hyaluronic acid) and seaweed extracts (although probably mostly the SH). It’s cooling, non-greasy, lightweight and immediately relieving if your skin is dry.

Hibernicis Body Serum & Lotion Review

The Body Lotion is the same quality – light, softening, hydrating and really just about perfect. I’ve used the serum before the moisturiser and have never been more stroke-able (stand away – I’m not a hugger). I’m not joking – if you’ve ever wanted to feel like your silk pillow case, this is how. It’s a medley of sodium hyaluronate, shea butter, squalane, glycerine, avocado and rose water and it’s delicious on the skin. Being neglectful with my supplements gave me the dry skin I needed to test this properly (don’t worry, I am gulping them down now) but aside from that, it’s just such a lovely thing to do for your own body. It’s way too expensive – £69 for the body lotion and the same for the serum, but for treats, it’s ticking all the boxes. The presentation is slightly confusing – so pared back and monochrome it’s almost invisible leaving me thinking this is a brand that will stand on word of mouth alone because there isn’t visually very much to draw you to it, although the pattern represents pillars of stone that form a rune system. I actually thought it was a Japanese brand – it’s Irish – because of the packaging. I’m not sure where I see this sitting comfortably but if I sampled it in a spa or luxury hotel I’d absolutely buy it after trying and have a talk to myself later! There’s also a shower gel and a body exfoliator but I think the magic lies in the serum and the moisturiser. Their website is HERE.
