Oh, hello you thing of beauty! It is SO about time we had some candles that aren’t in clear glass jars and I think this design by Michael Angove looks pretty special. Use and ornament. So, who is Michael Angove? He’s a noted, award winning textile designer whose work has been commissioned by Hugo Boss, Farrow & Ball and Jean Paul Gaultier, to name a few. Above, you see Blackberry & Bay.
Jo Malone Michael AngoveAll is not as straightforward as it seems, as Michael explains on his blog HERE. Interwoven into what appears at first glance to be foliage and berries are insects and butterflies, and somewhere a very hidden gecko – there is a hidden bug in every pattern. As far as I can tell, there will be scent sachets, candles, soap and room diffusers. As well as using Blackberry & Bay, the second scent being given a lifestyle makeover is Orange Blossom, one of my favourites from Jo Malone.
Expect to see this collaboration around about April time.

I love the idea of a hidden bug! I’ve just looked on his blog, and there are so many to find! I’d love to have one of these to try my best at bug hunting!

That’s just beautiful and I agree re patterned jars – so pretty!

Jo Malone scents are just incredible and this new packaging is stunning. To be fair any excuse will do to spend outrageous amounts of money on things that smell (and look) nice.
Ah seriously love Jo Malone candles!
