It’s a really long time since I covered any CND Vinylux so I’ll do a quick recap on what Vinylux actually is before I talk about the shades. Vinylux is a polish that gives a full week’s wear by using natural light to ‘cure’. CND Vinylux fans are die hard and not surprisingly really because if you don’t like changing up your polish regularly, once a week keeps that chore manageable. You do need the topcoat because that’s what’s doing all the work, and it’s important to apply no basecoat but after that, it’s just like applying normal polish. From experience, it is a little bit more difficult to get off so you will probably need pure acetone and then to nourish your nails with oil.

Colours above from left to right are: Salmon Run, Thistle Thicket, Fragrant Freesia and Creekside. My pick from this lineup is Creekside – the perfect baby blue.

There’s an excellent FAQ page for any Vinylux newbies HERE and although it’s a salon brand, you can buy CND Vinylux HERE for £7.95 each (don’t forget the topcoat!).
