You’ve got to admit that these are a step-up from usual foam applicators that you get in stores to sample colours. They’re just so pretty and they’ve gone straight into my collector’s box even though they are two a penny.
Likewise, these fragrance cards to sample the Chanel perfumes on. Dior also do lovely sampler cards so it’s always worth looking out for them. A simple thing, beautifully done.

The NARS counter I was at today has similar sample brushes but they don’t have the name of the brand printed/embossed. Definitely an excellent way to establish your brand as luxe.
Those brushes are so cute! I wish they sold that here in Sydney.
They are lovely aren’t they? I nabbed a silicone-y mascara applicator last time I was there and I use it with my Maybeline Great Lash Mascara and it applies so much better! Next time I buy something I might be cheeky and ask if I can have a little set…
I wonder if this is something they just started doing. I had a makeover that the Chanel counter in Debenhams, B’ham last year and there was no sign of these. *sulks*
