Give me a decent gloss before lipstick any day of the week. The six shades in the bareMinerals Whimsical Wonder set are all very wearable and although they’re a modified size, i.e. gift set size, I still think this a very nice clutch of glosses for £22.50 (at John Lewis) with a value of £48. I know it’s a Christmas gift but to be honest, ignore the wrapping and enjoy it for yourself! <— Tip 😉

The most handy for party season is the Golden Glaze top coat (first in the line-up) and bareMinerals do shimmer gloss like no other so it really is a streak of ever changing colour nuance. Next in the swatch is Spark Plug; a neutral with a little bit of shimmer, Overachiever (a red wine shade with pink shimmer), Trailblazer (peach with shimmer), then my two favourites, Hot Shot and Maven (a milky baby pink).

This looks like a lovely little gift for Christmas, something I’d love to receive! Absolutely love the colours they’ve chosen for this set. I’m a massive Bare Minerals fan in general although I LOVE their lip products so no doubt these are fab! Great post and thanks for sharing! Will definition be giving these a go!

Gorgeous *and* affordable, what more could you ask for? 🙂

  3. Great colours but this season I prefer darker shades

  4. Do they have a taste/smell?

vanilla-ish with a kick of mint.

  5. That top coat looks lovely – I am a gloss fan myself but yet to try or afford Bare Minerals very often – great to see the swatches though.
