So, I’m totally unashamed that Aromatherapy Associates is (probably) my desert island brand. I don’t want to go through life without their highly potent bath oils that totally work for me in de-stressing and relaxing. I don’t care if it’s all in my head or if the aromatherapy oils really do their work – they just do the trick. I thought I wouldn’t get quite as excited about Aromatherapy Associates Relax Massage & Body Oil because I’m so welded to the bath oils, and I was right! I wish they’d make more bath oils.
But that’s not to say it isn’t a lovely oil – it very much is. And, it’s got that ‘spa’ smell that makes you feel immediately pampered – even if you do have to do the rubbing in yourself. However, as an evening post-bath treat while your skin is still warm from the water, it’s a dream to apply – light and liquid so it’s almost impossible not to massage whether you can be bothered or not. It contains chamomile, vetivert and ylang ylang, all of which aid sleep – that’s why whacking it on post-bath then sealing in the scent with your pjs (or better still, a onesie) you get little wafts of the scent all evening. Oh, and it totally makes your skin feel soft!
It’s lovely – at £41 it’s definitely treat territory for me but if you’re up for an indulgent pamper, I’d highly recommend. You can find it HERE. I’m totally with you on the bath oils – so divine. They don’t just fill the bathroom with the most uplifting and relaxing fragrances you could ever imagine; these bottles of wonder are so rich and powerful that they permeate through the rest of your home too. I have yet to find bath oils that match.
