[purchase] I was recently at my local Korean beauty shop (I am still so excited to be able to say that!) and picked up a couple of new lip products – one is the Amuse Jelly Ever After Jel-Fit Tint and the other is the Hur Glow Ampoule Tint Ascorbic Honey. Just based on the names alone, I couldn’t leave them in store.

Amuse Jelly Ever After Jel-Fit Tint

The Amuse Jelly Ever After Jel-Fit Tint looks like it’s a balm with a moisturising core but in fact, the lid comes off and a doe’s foot applicator appears.

The texture is so interesting – a bit like a creamy oil – so when you wear it, you get a mid-gloss sheen but as it wears off it leaves behind a tint so your lips never look completely bare. I was quite impressed at how strong the tint was. The shade I have is 03 Nupink which I really like – it’s a milky pink.

The Hur Glowy Ampoule Tint is similarly textured but a bit less soft on the lips – the comfort level is definitely superior with Jelly Ever After. You need to spread this much more thinly on your lips – it’s far more of a plain tint than an oil so the ‘glowy’ aspect is a bit of a mystery.

The shade is Deep Rose and it’s a particularly Korean shade of pink – milky and bright. However, it’s a bit too aggressive for me I think and I’m not sure it will get another outing. It also felt too ‘wet’ somehow but it leaves a very strong stain behind.
