Yesterday I was SO lost for inspiration – I don’t think you can do five years of blogging and not have days like that, so instead of forcing the issue, I didn’t do Accessory Wednesday – I didn’t forget to do it, like I have on some weeks (oops) but just couldn’t think of anything! However, lots of meetings in London today and I cut through M&S on Oxford Street as a short cut and saw some beautiful things that you so wouldn’t put down as M&S. So, that’s the inspiration for Accessory Thursday – thanks Marks & Spencer!

First up, that sweater! It’s cashmere of course, featuring the dog-de-jour, a French Bulldog. It’s £119 HERE and it’s got Swarovski Elements in the form of a discreetly jewelled dog colour. They look quite roomy as well, and I love a baggy sweater, especially when it’s cashmere.
Yikes, I hadn’t seen the price of the animal print leather jacket which looks dreadful on the site but absolutely gorgeous in store and up-close. It’s an investment piece at £399 and I can’t imagine there will be any stock left to go into the sale.. it’s a beautifully irresistible garmet, HERE.
Typically, the exact-match red bag isn’t on line but there’s one that’s very close – the red limited edition animal print bowler bag is a good buy at £39 HERE and perfect for updating last year’s coat if you don’t want to go to the expense of a new one. Otherwise, you’ll have to pop in store and see if you can find the exact one.
The biker coat – again, not on-line – but I’ve found an animal print front that is exactly the same design, different print. It’s a bit of a snip at £99 I think, and I’d definitely wear it. The pic is below and it’s HERE.

The lesson here is that you have a nearby store, it’s worth dropping in and not relying on on-line all the time; there seem to be some items that don’t make it on-line and they’re not to be missed out on.
