L’Oreal Paris Million Lashes Feline

There’s no doubt that mascara is one of the strengths of L’Oreal Paris – it’s pretty much a ‘can’t go wrong’ situation. Because I’ve been out of the mascara loop for such a long time, I’m enjoying the new discoveries, and while I’m obsessed at the moment with Chanel’s new mascara and also Clinique in Black Honey, L’Oreal Paris Million Lashes Feline proves that a big spend on lashes really isn’t essential.

The idea with L’Oreal Paris Million Lashes Feline is to get a stretched lash look; the arched brush is good at mimicking the natural order of lashes.. slightly shorter at the beginning of the lid and getting longer towards the ends, so the brush does a very decent pull-though on each length.

Proving there are many degrees of black, this formula is intensely black – a deep, deep coal but the promise of glossy looking lashes didn’t quite materialise. Instead, defined, well separated and lengthened lashes. I wouldn’t say it’s huge on volumising, but includes Cammelia and Argan Oil so does less of a crispy lash thing than many other formulations – I was happy with one coat of this, and it was only when I’d let that dry and applied another that it started to feel less soft. Maybe the trick is to apply multiple coats while still wet.

I’ve spotted that Boots has an offer – the normal price of Feline is £9.99, but Boots has the L’Oreal Paris Super Liner as well as the mascara as a package, basically making the liner free. You can find it HERE.
