Ojon Full Detox
Ojon Full Detox

I discovered Ojon in New York long before it came to the UK and was so obsessed with it I’d get anyone travelling to the US to bring me back as many bottles as they could carry. I had the best Ojon hoard in Britain. I still love using it now – and despite a myriad of new products, one of my firm favourites is Full Detox Shampoo (back then it was called Detox Recovery Cleanser). I use it every couple of weeks or so to get all the product and residue out of my hair and it’s always a very good hair day as a result. I also use Ultra Hydrating Shampoo and Conditioner – now re-born as Dry Recovery (I still have some with the old names – I told you it was quite a stash!). Because I discovered it in New York (in Sephora) I’m quite sentimental about Ojon; I love New York and haven’t been for far too long – it always reminds me of being there. It was eventually bought by the Estee Lauder group and tapping into their vast distribution network, became available in the UK.

I’d definitely recommend Full Detox as a weekly treatment – I’ve talked about it before on this blog because it is an enduring favourite – so if you’re going to take advantage of the Ojon offer in the BBB side-bar, that would be my top choice. Or if you prefer, if you head to www.ojon.co.uk, with any online purchase you will get a free full-size Rare Blend Protecting Treatment (worth £23) and those of us with a straightener habit will be grateful for it! It’s a leave-in, pre-heat styler that keeps hair in good condition even if you’re savaging it with irons, curlers or dryers.
